WELCOMEJosh Zacher is the Total Package. He is a stage and screen performer, a director/choreographer of musicals and dance films, and an artistic educator. He is a Hardworking, Excellence Driven artist who aims to Elevate the Theatrical Experience and empower the next generation of artists. As a performer, Josh has toured the US three times, served as Dance Captain, Swing, and Understudy, and played many top tier regional houses including The Kennedy Center, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre.
As a director/choreographer Josh is prioritizing New Musicals and loves working as an Associate Director/Choreographer to support and collaborate with other creatives. Some recent collaborators include Glenn Casale, John MacInnis, Sara Edwards, Chase Brock, Rachel Klein, and Michael Heitzman. As an educator, Josh is Theatre and Jazz faculty at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and teaches nationwide for various conventions and festivals. RECENT NEWS
Josh finished out 2024 serving as the Associate Choreographer, Restaging Director, Dance Captain, and Swing of McCoy Rigby Entertainment's touring production of the Disney's The Little Mermaid which is playing at the Ordway in St. Paul, MN. This production previously played La Mirada Theatre, Kansas City Starlight, and The Lied Center.

Josh recently served as the Assistant Director to Sara Edwards on a Ken Davenport helmed 29 Hour Reading of a new musical titled The Dark Lady.
Josh is currently working as the Associate Director, Associate Choreographer, and Dance Captain of the World Premiere of Esther - a brand new dance musical starring Sharna Burgess from Dancing with the Stars!
